The 64^th Annual Championships of the South West Brass Band Association will be held on SATURDAY 6^th NOVEMBER 2010 at The Riviera International Conference Centre, Torquay commencing at 9.30am and continuing through until mid evening. The Adjudicators are Dennis Wilby and Derek Greenwood.

The Association is again pleased to report a very good entry of 33 bands competing in 7 sections, with the Riviera Centre and Torquay welcoming bands and their supporters located in Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Hampshire, Dorset and South Wales. It is also pleasing to note the attendance of 1 Youth Band, 3 Training Bands and 2 UnGraded Bands in their respective sections.

The Championships are unique in the brass band movement, as no monetary awards have ever been made to the winning bands (which dispels the cry from some quarters for more and bigger prize money), and the Association is extremely proud that it’s member and guest bands continue to show such loyalty to the Association.

All-day tickets available on the day at only £7 (with concessions).
